Line of Events

Sonic, Knuckles and Tails join forces against a powerful new foe: Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike any they’ve ever seen before. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must find an unlikely alliance. The filmmakers of the previous films have mentioned playing both Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2001) and the solo game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) as inspiration. The film is also inspired by narrative elements of the Saturday morning TV animated series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Shadow’s story began much like yours, Sonic.
